Over the Flu
Well, spent the past week pretty much sleeping. Should have my new computer soon (schmancy new PowerBook), so I'll be able to post from home again. More later!

So Matt & Shannon are in town visiting Skye and me, and we're having a very good time! The other night, we drank quite a bit. Yesterday, we were pretty dehydrated. And then today I came across this:

Chainsaw Vs. Goat

So my office is upstairs from a preschool which is having a summer "daycamp" thing going on right now. Today is petting zoo day. that means ducks, goats, and even (this is for Skye) ponies!

Coincidentally, today is also the day that the city is working on the trees outside.

Coincidentally, today is the day that the buildings & grounds crew has chosen to repaint.

So we have tree limbs falling on wet paint, spooked animals, and kids who now are probably forever afraid of animals. The best "back and forth," though, is between the chainsaw and the goat.

Chainsaw: bwaa-WHIRRRRRRRRR!
Goat: baaaaaaaaaaa!

The goat always responds.
